Very Happy with NetVirtue
Based on my experience to date (obviously that's all I can base it one) - I have a number of shared hosting plans (multiple websites). I've tried a f...
ew different hosts over the years and NetVirtue have been far and away the best. They are very responsive with support issues, generally stable (occasional downtime but usually fixed rapidly) and I've had no cause for complaint. They certainly offer extremely good value for money and I don't hesitate to recommend them.

One-Star is Too Generous — Run, Don’t Walk, Away from HostPapa
This has been, without exaggeration, the most mind-numbingly incompetent support (technical and billing) experience I’ve ever had — with any company, ...
in any industry. All I asked was for two hosting accounts to be merged and upgraded to a higher-tier plan. A simple 10-minute task, which would’ve even earned them an extra $150. Instead? 39 emails! Yes, thirty-nine. Over ten days. And still — it’s not done. Each time, I repeated the same instructions. Each time, they either ignored, misunderstood, or rewrote reality in ways that would make Orwell blush. It’s like every reply was generated by someone dropped headfirst into tech support after a coma. To call this amateur hour is an insult to amateurs. The team at HostPapa is like a live-action remake of "Idiocracy", only less efficient. They create chaos, confusion, and make you question your own sanity. Their left hand doesn’t know the right hand exists — let alone what it's doing. If you want your website to crash regularly, your support tickets to be answered by what feels like a randomized nonsense generator, and your blood pressure to spike every time you check your inbox, by all means — sign up. Otherwise, avoid HostPapa like the digital plague it is. You’ve been warned.

Poor Service Poor Attitude - AVOID
I used to love these guys. I referred so many clients to them due to the incredible service. Sadly, in the last 12-months that has just died a fast ha...
rd death. There servers are slow ... yet they maintain that it is the website and plugins, even with developers saying it was undoubtedly the server. I changed to siteground - and the page speed improved significantly. I had an old site - hosting and domain, though really only used it for the email. I was going to move this across to siteground too ... realised that my hosting wasn't there, contacted them ... they realised that while the website was working and it was still hosted there, I just didn't have access to it from my own account ... and that they hadn't billed me (which was all automatic) - and so hit me up with a bill for 2-years. I wasn't happy at all ... I could have eaten it, had they offered a half decent service ... but like I said, that has long gone. They are arrogant and rude and very very unhelpfuly.
